Description
THE PIECE The KAWS x Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK “Dissected Companion” 400% brings together two giants of the collectible world. KAWS’ signature “Dissected” concept — revealing the inner anatomy of his iconic Companion character — is applied to the classic BE@RBRICK form, creating a crossover that sits at the top of every serious collector’s want list.
DESIGN DETAILS Standing at approximately 28cm (11 inches), the 400% size is the sweet spot for display. The figure features KAWS’ trademark anatomical cutaway revealing bones, organs, and internal structure beneath the surface, all rendered in clean sculpted detail. The unmistakable XX eyes and crossbone motifs tie it back to the KAWS universe. Premium vinyl construction with a weighted feel that sets it apart from standard production figures.
WHY IT MATTERS KAWS pieces have crossed over from street art collectibles into the fine art market, with his works selling at auction houses like Christie’s and Sotheby’s. The BE@RBRICK collaboration is one of the most sought-after in the Medicom Toy lineup, and the Dissected series commands some of the highest resale prices in the game. Production runs are limited and long discontinued — supply only gets tighter from here.
