Takashi Murakami “Mr. DOB” Figure (Gold/Silver)

The Takashi Murakami “Mr. DOB” Figure (Gold/Silver) is a standout variation of one of the most recognizable characters in contemporary art. Created by legendary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, Mr. DOB serves as a central figure in his work and embodies his signature Superflat aesthetic.

This version features a vibrant metallic gold and silver color scheme, giving the character a more dynamic and eye-catching presence compared to traditional releases. The glossy finish enhances the bold design, while the exaggerated facial features—including the hypnotic multicolor eye and sharp-toothed grin—create a striking balance between playful and chaotic energy.

Murakami’s work often explores themes of pop culture, consumerism, and the blending of fine art with animation influences. The Mr. DOB figure captures these ideas through its unique design and high-quality construction, making it both an artistic statement and a collectible piece.

Highly sought after by collectors and fans of contemporary art, the Gold/Silver Mr. DOB figure stands out as a vibrant and distinctive addition to any collection, showcasing Murakami’s ability to merge color, character, and culture into a single iconic form.
